The successful applicant will report to the divisional manager & will manage their own book of business whilst being sup ported by an Account Executive and a shared Assistant, therefore an ability to delegate and communicate effectively will be paramount to the successful running of the overall portfolio. Candidates will need to be able to develop and maintain effective long term relationships with clients keeping abreast of management and other changes within the organisation. They will need to have an ability to mentor & have leadership skills as they will need to formally review performance of the team. Tier 1 is mandatory with the Diploma and a degree in insurance or a related field being highly desirable.

Account Manager (Internal)
Assisting the MD on placement of policies and oversee an internal admin function, e.g. accompany the MD on client service visits, liaise with their business process team and manage inhouse admin of Account Exec's etc.
This role will suit someone who is technically sound with strong organisation skills and good communication - they are still required to service clients but in a support role not as the lead broker, however, there is potential for this role to eventually develop into an external Account Manager position.
Candidates will need a thorough understanding of larger risks i.e. ISR, Liability, Commercial Motor Vehicle & also have completed their Tier 1 qualification.

Claims Manager (Broking)
Even though this is a broking claims management role, you still have authority to settle claims up to $250K so you don’t have to wait for the insurer for everything!!.
This is a management role so the ideal candidate will have extensive understanding of claims budgets, and be able to analyse and identify trends and instigate change to respond.
They will need to be able to conduct quality control & quality review audits & be able to provide instruction on litigated matters whilst having a thorough understanding of FOS/Insurance Contracts Act.

Financial Planner & Practice Manager
This client is a very successful general insurance broking firm who have a thriving Financial Planning Arm to their business.
They are now looking to appoint a Financial Planner who has worked in the Financial Planning industry for at least five years, (longer is preferable). Candidates will need to be RG146 Compliant, have extensive experience in the insurance side of Financial Planning, and be licensed to operate as an Authorised Representative. Candidates will need to have impeccable client liaising skills along with the ability to maintain XPlan. The role will requires generation of quotes and SoA’s and maintenance of a commission tracking system.
They are also looking to appoint a Practice Manager who has worked in the Financial Planning industry for at least three years. It would be preferable if Candidates were RG146 Compliant and had experience in the insurance side of Financial Planning. Responsible for processing new business applications right through to completion of the policy. Co-ordinating the Adviser’s diary; liaising with clients. Maintaining both XPlan, & the Commission tracking system.
